A flower grows in Afghanistan.

I don't know who she is. She is just someone's daughter. But, as Stevie Wonder sings, "Isn’t she lovely...Isn’t she wonderful."

Happy Friday.

The child is beautiful. They are all beautiful - God bless them and protect them.

She's from Afghanistan? You get very attractive people in that region, at least they are when they are young as the harsh lifestyle takes its toll. The Eastern Nepalese and Tibetans are very attractive too with their red cheeks and green eyes. I'd be walking past terraced paddy-fields and suddenly one of the female workers would stand up and give me a big smile and a wave; quite entrancing in their brightly-coloured traditional skirts in the morning sunlight.

Looks like she could use a bath.

Is that eyeliner she is wearing?

Mike! Obviously you don't have kids. They're so damn cute when they run up to you all happy with dirt all over them and clutching some flowers in a dirty little chubby fist - just beautiful! Of course - then mummy washes their little face.

Every picture of every child in Afghanistan that I've seen - they are just gorgeous. I haven't seen ONE ugly kid.

Mike lol. But yes she is. Its like a small stick of blue charcoal that arabic women traditionally use - and being a little cutie shes just trying on the make up.

An Algerian woman with gorgeous eyes once applied it to my eyes at my request. Fool that i was. Its like taking a crayon and closing your eyes onto it then pulling it through your eyes real quick so it applies thick blue to the top and lower lids. It hurt actually. But it stays for days, looks amazing and er...cures headaches.

Well at least she can grow up and wear makeup in Afghanistan.

The Taliban used to pull out women's fingernails if they dared to paint them.
