Just a gentle reminder of those in faraway places

Army 1st Lt. Greg Baker (right) listens as the village elder talks to him through an interpreter in the town of Zaker-e Sharif, Afghanistan, on Aug. 18, 2005. Baker is attached to the Army's 3rd Battalion Field Artillery.

Thanks for the reminder. Now, we also have many, many people separated from their families because of Katrina.

I just don't want people to forget our soldiers away fighting the war on terror.

Hopefully, those families separated by the hurricane will be reunited safe and sound soon. Just as hopefully, our soldiers will return home and be reunited safe and sound with their families soon too.

moments later, the village elder was strung up by his testicles and forced to have sex with a man, as per American Interrogation Policies.

what better can i possibly do? you support the most ineffective and incompetent president in history. i think its bad when the best day you've had in office is also a day when 3000 americans are killed. and yes, i'm saying that 9/11 was the best gift george w. bush could ever hope for.
