What a slam-dunk!

Kudos to Mike over at Mike's America (whom I fondly call "lowcountry" because he lives in a beautiful part of South Carolina) for getting on to the BBC News Americas' Media react to Bush Iraq speech.

"The site Mike's America - run by a former staffer with the US Environmental Protection Agency, hit out at the Democrat response to the speech.

"Once again, a point by point recitation of our goals, our methods, how they have adapted to events and a response to his [the president's] critics.

"And the Defeaticrat response? More of the same defeatism which paralyses that political party from offering anything constructive at a time of war."

I find it exciting that someone went out of their way to pick up on Mike's comments on his blog. Someone out there is definitely keeping their pulse on how many are feeling, not what is just being reported.

Notice who Mike is shaking hands with? Sigh...my hero, President Reagan.

Again, kudos to you, Mike. You deserve it!

aw shucks Alice! You're going to make me blush!

You think maybe the Beeb is trying to overcome their repuatation for being a total lackey for the hard left?

Whatever the reason, I was glad to see them getting some balance for this important Bush speech.

Poor Reagan. Having to shake hands with some knucklehead who dug up enough money for the 1,000-a-plate dinner.

Mike wonders why people on the left don't challenge him on his website. That's because he deletes whatever comments he doesn't agree with.

Having a blog doesn't make you a member of the "media."

Who wants to be "media"?

Having a blog puts Mike lightyears ahead of the "media".

chris: Like other bloggers out there, I don't feel like I'm part of the media; nor, come to think of it, would I want to be part of the media. Especially the MSM. I am so glad that there are those out there that can actually balance out what the MSM drool out on a daily basis. And I consider Mike's America one of them.

You gotta a problem with that? Too bad.

Tell Chrissy to take it up with the Beeb... I don't write the headlines (maybe I should).

Anyone else find comments from clown's like Chris here to be further evidence of the utter intellectual vacuity of the left?

And more to the point: someone who obviously suffers from some neurotic desire to show more bile than brains.

Pretty sad.. Too bad we can't force them to take their medication.

Alice: I think the Beeb has me on speed dial. Another link to my comments regarding President Bush's Oval Office speech:

http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/world/americas/4541818.stm

This will drive neurotic attention starved moonbat Chris more nuts, the headline:

Press finds new tone in Bush Speech and puts Mike's America right up there with:

* The New York Times
* The Washington Post
* The Miami Herald
* The Los Angeles Times

Nice to be in such august company.

I credit you Alice and all your fine British readers. One of them must be a conservative mole at the Beeb.
